My IT journey began at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, where I worked in the IT Department from 2009 to 2014. I developed university websites using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL, which gave me a strong full-stack foundation and real project experience. Created several projects with WordPress engine and CodeIgniter PHP framework.

I earned my Master’s degree in Information Technology (Mg.sc.ing.) from the Latvia University of Agriculture in 2014, focusing on software design and system architecture. During that time, I also explored mobile development — creating several Windows 8 and Windows Phone apps, including Just Words (a multilingual word puzzle), Baltic Keys (a Baltic language typing app), Budget+,  and Autoskola (my first mobile project).

My Windows Phone App Budget+ received a jury’s sympathy prize at the Windows Phone App Camp Riga, which encouraged me to keep building practical, user-friendly digital solutions — an approach that continues to shape my work today.

During my 7.5 years at Pearl Group, I evolved from an SAP Commerce (Hybris) Consultant into a Solution Architect, leading complex, multi-country e-commerce implementations for major Scandinavian brands. My role spanned hands-on development, team leadership, and architectural design, ensuring seamless integration between SAP Commerce, ERP, CRM, and third-party systems.

I was responsible for translating business needs into scalable technical solutions, preparing proof-of-concepts, and guiding both clients and developers through implementation phases. I also led several migration projects — including transforming legacy SAP Web Channel and subscription-based systems into modern Hybris platforms — improving performance, maintainability, and customer experience.

This period strengthened my expertise in enterprise-level system design, agile delivery, and client communication while deepening my understanding of high-availability, multi-channel commerce systems operating across Nordic and UK markets.

Since 2021, I’ve been working as an independent SAP Commerce (Hybris) consultant, delivering backend development and architectural solutions for clients across industries including automotive, retail, telecom, manufacturing, and food distribution. My work focuses on designing new platform features, performing integrations, improving code quality, and contributing to platform upgrades — always ensuring scalability and maintainability.

Alongside my SAP Commerce projects, I also develop WordPress websites for small to mid-sized businesses, tailoring solutions to their specific goals — from simple company pages to complex e-commerce or content-driven platforms.

This period has strengthened my technical independence, adaptability, and ability to deliver results across both enterprise and SME environments, combining robust engineering practices with creative web development.
